Fake Tag Leads to Narcotics Arrest

Schulenburg Police Department reports, on Saturday, December 31st, at approximately 12:23am, Schulenburg Officers stopped a 1999 Acura TL on 1H-10 EB near MM 675 for multiple traffic offenses. One of those offenses being displaying a fictitious Temporary Tag.
While speaking with the driver and sole occupant, Officers and Deputies on scene observed drug paraphernalia inside of the vehicle. A probable cause search was conducted and methamphetamine was located.
Colin Cason (41) of Columbus, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and transported to the Dan R. Beck Justice Center.
