Delivery of a Controlled Substance Warrant turns Foot Chase

On 12/14/22 Fayette County Narcotics Unit, Austin County Regional Special Response team, and the HIDTA Drug Tsk Force served a Felony 1 Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance warrant on a male subject at the Pilot Truck Stop in Schulenburg.
A brief foot chase ensued through the Pilot Parking lot into the woods east if Pilot and out to the I-10 Frontage Road. The Suspect was apprehended after resisting arrest. Investigators received 2 bags of Ecstasy Pills that they observed the suspect throw near the woods during the foot chase. Investigators counted approximately 183 Ecstasy pills. The Ecstasy Pills were also field tested by investigators to which gave a positive for methamphetamines.
28 Year Old Shaquille Laquan Oliver of Schulenburg, was booked into the Dan R. Beck Justice Center for two active Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance 4g<200g warrants; Evading Arrest Detention w/previous convictions; Tampering w/ Physical Evidence w/ intent to impair; resisting arrest/search/ transport; and possession of a Controlled Substance PGI 4g < 200g.
