Public Intoxication Arrest in Weimar

In the early hours of Sunday June 14th, Officer Calvert was dispatched to the 200 block of S Mechanic regarding a physical altercation. Upon arrival, Officer Calvert discovered a group of people gathered in the roadway in front of the residence. He separated the involved parties and, after a brief investigation, determined the intoxicated subject had engaged in a physical altercation with two other individuals.
The suspect was taken into custody for Public Intoxication and Assault.
Officer Calvert transported the suspect to the Colorado County Jail without further incident.
