New Technology identifies woman whos been Missing for nearly 50 years

A Mystery that began in a neighboring county nearly 50 years ago is still a mystery. New Technology has brought the mystery back into light. In March of 1977, James Skidmore and his wife Carol and Carol's 5 year old son Lynn Dale Mahaffy left their home in Sealy bound for a trip to James Skidmore's Parents home in Rossville, Georgia. 2 months after they left for the trip, in May of 1977, the body of the 5 year old boy was found in Parkville Lake, Tennessee. The Victim of a Homicide, the body of the boy was wrapped in plastic. A month after the 5 year old Boy's body was found, James Skidmore was found dead in a Hotel Room in Harrison Arkansas. His Death was ruled as a Drug Overdose/Suicide. In 1980, Skeletal Remains of a female were located in a shallow grave by 3 hunters in an area of Florida. For the last 45 years, The identity of the female has been a mystery. Now, through DNA Technology, Authorities say the body of the woman found in 1980 is that of Carol Skidmore. The mystery of what happened to the Skidmore's and Carol's 5 year old son continues.
