According to the Fayette County Record, The Fayette County Appraisal District began the search for a new chief appraiser this week. Former Chief Appraiser Richard Moring resigned earlier this month. Deputy Chief Appraiser Barbara Genzer and Administrative Assistant Amber Moerbe will manage day-to-day operations in the interim. The Fayette CAD Board of directors met Tuesday afternoon and voted to approve a job description and advertise the open postion.
