Round Top Carmine ISD Board of Trustees Meeting

The Board of Trustees of the Round Top-Carmine ISD met in regular meeting on January 27th. Trustees present were Calvin Krause, President; Michael Sacks, Vice President; Clint Eilers, Secretary; Brandon Pieper, Jason Wager, Carl Schobel, and Al Gross. Administrators present were Brandon Schovajsa, Rachelle Kuecker, and Amy Weinert.
No visitors were in attendence.
President Calvin Krause called the meeting to order at 6pm and a quorum was established.
Mr. Krause lead the pledges.
Mr. Schovajsa, along with the campus principals, made a presentation to the board recognizing them for their service to the District in honor of School Board Appreciation month.
A Motion was made by Carl Schobel and seconded by Jason Wagner to Approve all consent agenda items which were as follows: minutes of the previous meeting, elementary and secondary campus reports, and superintendent reports. Motion Carried.
A Motion was made by Michael Sacks and seconded by Al Gross to hold a public hearing on Annual Performance Reports and improvement plans for the District on February 24th at 6pm at the Elementary School in Round Top. Motion Carried.
A motion was made by Brandon Pieper and seconded by Carl Schobel to approve TASB Update. Motion Carried.
A motion was made by Michael Sacks and seconded by Al Gross to accept the resignation of Carl Schobel. Motion Carried.
A Motion was made by Al Gross and seconded by Jason Wagner to approve filling trustee place five vacancy by adding the unexpired term to the Mary 2025 Election. Motion Carried.
