Fayette Co. 4-H Compete in San Antonio Commercial Steer Contest

Numerous Fayette County 4-H Members competed in the San Antonio Livestock Show Commercial Steer Judging Contest recently.
Those competing include Adalyn Carralles, Joseph Carrales, Crockett Guenther, and Gage Smrkovsky. There were approximately 100 Commercial Steer Exhibitors.
Crockett placed 12th, Adalyn placed 39th, Gage placed 43rd, and Joseph placed 51st.
Gage was the Champion Rookie Speech Winner.
The Commercial Steer Contest consist of Weigh, Ultrasound, and Live Evaluation of Steers, Record book, Beef Science Test, and Public Speaking Presentation.
