MELQUIADES CRUZ AGE 96 OF GIDDINGS

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 30, at Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home.

Melquiades is survived by his children, Ofelia Cardenas Garcia and husband Jose Francisco Rivera Carrillo of Giddings, Maria Del Carmen Cardenas Garcia of Giddings, Severa Oralia Cardenas Torres and husband Julian Torres of North Carolina; fourteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; sister, Santos Castillo and husband Carlos Grinaldo of Mexico, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
