ANNETTA "COTTON" SHEPARD AGE 89

A homegoing celebration for Annetta “Cotton” Shepard, 89, of Elgin formerly Giddings, Texas, are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Phillips and Luckey Funeral home in Giddings, Texas, with Rev. J.R. Roberson officiating. Burial will follow in the Giddings City Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home. The family will be present for visitation on Friday, October 10, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

 

Cotton leaves to mourn her passing her three children, Brian Wade Sr. and wife Rachel of Giddings, Shawn Shepard of Giddings, and Jeanette Campbell of Elgin; nine grandchildren, Bronte Wade of Georgetown, Brian Wade Jr. of Magnolia, Tori Wade of Magnolia, Summer Korzekwa of Giddings, Autum Korzekwa of San Marcos, Bryan Campbell of Minnesota, Brittany Shepard of Round Rock, Tawshawna Shepard of Manor, and Zakari Shepard of Elgin; eleven great-grandchildren, Keagan Campbell of New Mexico, Keaton Wade of Houston, Wrenley Wade of Houston, Lucas Wade of Magnolia, Omari White of Arizona, Maeve Ealy of Giddings, Cedric Baker of Manor, Kianna Rector of Georgetown, Quinton Berry of Georgetown, Zaiden Tolliver of Georgetown, and Lyric Baker of Manor; one sister, Helen Shields of Austin; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
