SCHULENBURG ATHLETIC DIRECTOR PLACED ON LEAVE

The athletic director of the Schulenburg Independent School District has been place on leave. 

The superintendent of the Schulenburg ISD, Duane Limbaugh, released a statement yesterday concerning the status of the employment of Coach Walter Brock. According to the statement, Coach Walter Brock has been place on administrative leave pending an investigation into incidents that allegedly occurred during last Friday night's game, when Schulenburg faced Hearne in Hearne. The superintendents statements reads " I received reports that Coach Brock acted in an unprofessional manner on the side lines during the game and outside the locker room at half-time. I expect all employees of Schulenburg ISD to conduct themselves in a manner consistent with their position as role models in our community."

The superintendent also stated he will no make any other comments at this time concerning this matter. Coach Gilbert Price has been named Interim head coach while Walter Brock is on administrative leave.
