Stolen Vehicle Recovered in Schulenburg

On Monday, May 25, at approximately 5:35 am, Schulenburg Officers received notification from an Automatic License Plate Reader (LPR) about a stolen vehicle headed eastbound on IH-10. At approximately 6:06 am, Officers observed the vehicle and attempted to conduct a traffic stop on it. The vehicle failed to stop and a pursuit was initiated. The pursuit continued into Colorado County where Colorado County Sheriff’s Office deputies successfully deployed a tire deflation device.
The vehicle attempted to go up the shoulder but became stuck. The driver, a female juvenile, was taken into custody and ultimately transported to a Juvenile Detention Facility.
