Fayette County 4-H compete at District 11 4-H Food Show and Contest
Numerous Fayette County 4-Hers competed in the 2022 District 11 4-H Show and Food Challenge Contest recently in Cuero.In the Food Challenge Contest all 4 teams placed in the top 3 of their catagories. 2 Hot 2 Handle placed 1st in the Senior Appetizer Catagory and will advance to Texas 4-H Roundup in June. Team Members consisted of Cooper Mau, Harper Mau, Logan Poncik and Mackenzie Poncik.
Creative Cooks placed 1st in Senior Side Dish Category and will advance to Texas 4-H Roundup in June. Team Members where Eleanor Carey, Tori Newton, and Elena Supak.
Shaker Bakers placed 1st in the Junior/Intermediate Appetizer Catagory. Team Members consisted of Scotti Beseda, MacKayla Griffin, Hailey Janish, and Kandon Kaspar.
Simmer Down placed 3rd in the junior/intermediate main dish category. Team Members consisted of Tatum Fritsch, Ally Kibby, and Sawyer Mau.
In the Food Show, Tori Newton placed 2nd in the Senior Main Dish Catagory. Taylyn Newton placed 2nd in the Junior Main Dish Catagory. Chloe Oliva competed in the Junior Main Dish Category and Sarita Kinsey competed in the intermediate appetizer catagory.
