A Vehicle was Stolen in Moulton

A Vehicle was stolen in Moulton Friday night. Moulton Police Officer Greg Proske was dispatched to a location off Lancaster Street at 9:45 Friday Night. A Vehicle was stolen from the Moulton Apartments. Moulton Chief of Police Daniel Beyer, who is a member of the South Texas Regional Auto Theft Task Force, Created a post on the Task Force Site. Within an hour, the driver of the vehicle was stopped on Interstate 10. The person who stole the Vehicle told the authorities he was taking the vehicle to the Border. He was arrested and booked into the Guadalupe County Jail. The Stolen vehicle was returned to the owner in Moulton. Moulton Mayor Mark Zimmerman says he is pleased with the quick and decisive actions of the Moulton Police.
