Victim of Ledbetter Murder Identified

The Body of a Dead man was found last week in Ledbetter in Lee County. The victim in this case has been identified by investigators as "Carlos Ramone Greene" black/male, date of birth 5/20/1987. Mr.Greene was known to frequent the 1100 Block of CR 123; where his body was recovered at the crime scene during the initial investigation on 3/5/2024. Carlos Greene's current driver's license lists a College Station address as his home. The case remains an active and on-going investigation. LCSO Criminal Investigators and the Texas Rangers are working to identify the suspect/s responsible for Mr.Greene's death.
