According to Hallettsville Police Department, on Sunday March 3, at approximately12:35am, an HPD Officer was traveling in the area of the 1400 Blk E Fourth St. when a vehicle pulled out in front of an officer causing him to apply his brakes. Contact was made with the adult male driver who was under the age of 21. The driver had a detectable amount of alcohol emitting from his person. The adult male driver (20) of Hallettsville was arrested for DUI-Minor and was booked into the Lavaca County Jail.
