Vehicle Pursuit

On Wednesday, October 19th at approximately 1:35am, Schulenburg Police Department reports that, Officers attempted to stop a gray Toyota for a traffic violation on IH-10 EB near MM674.
The Vehicle failed to stop despite the Officer having sirens and lights activated. A pursuit ranging in speeds of 60mph-95mph ensued. Thevehicle ultimately came to a stop near MM 682 W of Weimar.
The driver, Qaiser Mustafa (21), of Houston was arrested for Evading Arrest/Detention with a Motor Vehicle and Possession of a Dangerous Drug. The passenger, Bakhtullah Noor Wali (17), of Houston, was arrested for Fraudulent Use/Possession of Identifying Documents,
Both Individuals were transported to the Dan R. Beck Justice Center.
