According to Schulenburg Police Department, on Tuesday, February 20, at approximately 9:26 pm, Officers conducted a traffic stop on IH-10 on a silver Buick car for a traffic violation. While speaking with the driver, probable cause was developed to search the vehicle. The search yielded a small bottle which contained a liquid emitting a strong chemical odor. The majority of the contents had been poured out onto the floorboard. The substance was field tested and showed to be positive for PCP aka “wet”. The driver, Carl Sidney (43), of Weimar, was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Tampering/Fabricate Evidence w/Intent to Impair then transported to the Dan R. Beck Justice Center for Booking.
