On Sunday, November 26th, at 2:43 PM, the Bastrop County Sheriff's Office received a report of a missing 7 year old child, Jesus J. Castellanos-Carreon. The Parents, Felipe Castellanos & Blanca Carreon-Antonio, discovered that Jesus was missing and immediately began to search for him. After finding signs that Jesus may have gone into a large pond near their residence on Pasadera Road, the parents called 9-1-1. The Bastrop County Sheriff's Office and numerous other first responders went to the area and began an air, water, and ground search. The water rescue team from Austin PD located the body in the pond at 7:50pm. The Water temperature was 56 degrees and the body was in 5ft of water. Jesus was autistic. It is not uncommon for autistic children to be attracted to water such as ponds, pools, and water tanks.
