Burglary Suspects taken into Custody in Halletsville

On August 21, Hallettsville Police Department responded to the 100 Blk of Lay St in reference to a burglary of habitation. On August 22, Hallettsville Police Department followed up on a lead which subsequently resulted in the arrest of two subjects for their involvement in the burglary.
A female from Hallettsville was arrested for possession of stolen property and a male from Yoakum was arrested for burglary of inhabitation. Both subjects were transported to the Lavaca County Jail for Confinement.
