In the past week, Austin County has experienced 4 vehicle thefts in various parts of the county. All of the vehicles were either Ford or Dodge heavy duty trucks. These thefts all occurred between 2am and 5am in the morning. To date, one of the vehicles was recovered in Colorado County, Several Stolen Vehicles had the key fob in the vehicles while parked at residences.
