A Stolen Vehicle was abandoned in Fayette County Yesterday. Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek says the vehicle was stolen and abandoned in Flatonia early yesterday morning. The vehicle is believed to have been stolen by a Hispanic male. Sheriff Korenek describes the individual having a ponytail, wearing a black shirt and grey pants. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Fayette County Sheriff's department. There has been a rash of vehicle thefts in our surrounding area. Most of these auto thefts the keys were left in the ignition. Sheriff Korenek reminds citizens to take their keys out of the vehicles.
