Trespassing call turns Drug Bust

Fayette County Sheriff, Keith Korenek reports, Deputy Joe Gonzales and Deputy Holly Smith, while responding to a trespassing call in the Nechanitz Area off Schuster Rd, came in contact with a male subect who exited a storage shed that emitted a heavy odor of marijuana. A search of the storage shed that emitted a heavy odor of Marijuana. A search of the storage shed was conducted and 4.95 ounces of marijuana was recovered.
Deputy Gonzales searched the property. Gonzales then uncovered a small Marijuana grow set up approximately 40 feet behind the storage shed. Deputy Gonzales recovered an additional 5.5lbs of Marijuana. Subject arrested was Larry Gest Jr. of Ledbetter, TX.
