Traffic Stop in Schulenburg

On July 27th at approximately 1:30am, Officers with the department conducted a traffic stop in the 300 block of Kallus St for a traffic violation. The driver admitted to being on felony probation and advised he had meth and a firearm in the vehicle. A probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted.
The driver identified as Christian Campos (24), of Schulenburg, was arrested for Felon in Possession of Firearm and Possession of Firearm and Possession of a controlled substance.

Campos was transported to the Dan R. Beck Justice Center for booking.
