Suspects taken into custody after Mullins Prairie Robbery
Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek Reports that Last Week, Deputies took reported of a burglary at the Mullins Prairie Store and vandalism that occurred at the New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. Both cases were forwarded to the Fayette County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigations Division.While Investigators began working on each case, they received information on the identity of one of the suspects in the burglary of the Mullins Prairie Store. Investigators located and interviewed the subject who admitted to taking part in both the burglary and the vandalism of the church.
Investigators continued working on the case and identified two more suspects. During the investigation it was determined these individuals took part in two more crimes that had occurred in Mullins Prairie area few weeks prior. Investigators received warrants for arrest on the three suspects, who all turned themselves in to the Fayette County Justice Center on the morning of July 25th.
Those arrested were, Eagan Rivers age 19 of LaGrange; Cody Parks, age 17 of LaGrange, and Anthony Pate III, age 18 of Dale. They were each charged with Burglary of a Building and criminal mischief.
