Arrest at the Timewise in Flatonia

Flatonia Police Department reports, on Friday July 21 at 12:20pm, Three Flatonia Police Officers were at Timewise after responding to assist Fayette County EMS with a medical emergency. As the scene was wrapping up, the Officers could smell a strong odor of marijuana coming from a vehicle parked in front of Timewise. Officers made contact with the two subjects who were in the vehicle. A probable cause search was conducted, and Officers located Marijuana, a handgun, and a container with white pills inside. The pills were identified as Hydrocodone. The driver of the vehicle admitted that he had taken the pills from his grandmother. The driver also admitted that the marijuana and handgun were his. He was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, unlawful carrying of a weapon and possession of marijuana.
