Vehicle Stolen in LaGrange

LaGrange Police Chief, David Gilbreath reports that recently on July 7th, LaGrange Police Officer Curtis Zwahr responded to the LaGrange Chevron in LaGrange for a Stolen Vehicle.
The Investigation revealed that a 2006 Ford F-250 was stolen from the parking lot during the night hours. The vehicle was locked and the keys were not in the ignition.
On Saturday, July 8th, Fayette County Deputy Charles Jobb was notified that the stolen vehicle was abandoned on FM 2436 near Hostyn.
Sergeant Jobb reported that the unknown actor had to break the door handle on the vehicle to gain access to the vehicle, then unknown actor busted the steering column out of the vehicle.
The vehicle was returned to the owner.
