Vehicle Violation turns Warrant Arrest
On Tuesday, June 27th a Flatonia Police Officer observed a vehicle with a vehicle violation. The officer conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and spoke with the driver. The Driver identified themselves. The officer found that the driver had a warrant for their arrest and did not possess a valid driver's license. When the officer returned to the vehicle and asked the individual to exit the vehicle the driver refused to do so. While trying to arrest the driver they resisted officers on scene but was eventually safely placed in the officers patrol unit. The driver was arrested for their active warrant, resisting arrest, and cited for driving while license was invalid.
