On Wednesday, June 14th at approximately 2:48am, Sgt. Ryan Meagher was at the Amigo's Country Store in Flatonia, when he observed a male subject who was slumped over at the wheel of his parked vehicle. Contact was made with the male subject. Meagher believed the subject to be under the influence of an unknown narcotic. After further investigation, Meagher located two bags containing a white powdery substance believed to be cocaine in the pocket of the male's shirt. The male, 62 year old was from Flatonia, TX and was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance.
