Plane makes emergency Landing

Fayette County Deputies, La Grange Police Department, and DPS Troopers were dispatched to a plane having mechanical issues. The place was unable to make it to the La Grange Airport and was forced to land on the eastbound lanes of Highway 71 before pulling off of the highway. The Federal Aviation Administration was also notified of the incident. The plane landed successfully with no injuries or significant damage.
