Aggravated Assault Arrest in Giddings

This Past Monday, the Lee County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of an Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon call in the 1000 Block of Kay Street, Shady Oaks subdivision in Giddings.
During the investigation, deputies located the suspect vehicle at a local business and conducted a traffic stop. Through the course of the investigation, Lee County Constable K-9 unit was deployed and alerted to the presence of narcotics within the vehicle.
A subsequent search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of approximately 5.28 grams of methamphetamine, approximately 3.53 grams of Xanax, drug paraphernalia, a 9mm handgun, and nine catalytic converters believed to be unlawfully possessed.
Three individuals were arrested and charged with multiple offenses and booked into the Lee County Jail.
