UIL Region Solo & Ensemble for LGISD

UIL Region Solo & Ensemble took place recently, at Smithville High School. In this type of event, students perform a piece of music either as a soloist with piano accompaniment, or with a small ensemble where each member has their own unique part to contribute. La Grange High School had a strong showing, with all of the students sounding well prepared and performing well under pressure. 16 of these students qualified to advance to the UIL Texas State Solo & Ensemble Contest in May.
