The City of Flatonia has been made aware of scam calls claiming utility services will be disconnected unless immediate payment is made. These calls may demand payment over the phone using prepaid cards, gift cards, or other unusual methods.
Please know:The City of Flatonia will never demand immediate payment or threaten disconnection without prior written notice, and do not request payment by gift cards or wire transfers.
If you receive a suspicious call:

• Hang up immediately
