Schulenburg Fire Department reports that on Friday 1/23/26 just after 3am tones sounded for a fire on the back porch of a home in town. Upon arrival units found an outdoor kitchen that was attached to the home was burning. Quick action contained the fire to the back porch area and it was quickly extinguished. The home itself was unharmed.
