Motor Vehicle-Pedestrian Accident in Hallettsville

On Wednesday, January 7, at approximately 1:05 PM, the Hallettsville Police Department responded to a motor vehicle versus pedestrian accident in the 200 block of West Fourth Street.
The pedestrian was transported by air to a hospital in Austin, where she later succumbed to her injuries.
This incident remains under active investigation.
