Warrant Arrest in Schulenburg

According to the Schulenburg Police Department, on Tuesday, January 6th at approximately 7:29am, Schulenburg Officers conducted a traffic stop on a red Jeep Compass for speeding in a school zone, going 43mph in a 25mph zone.
The driver, Ariesto Muniz Jr. (39), of Schulenburg, showed to have an active arrest warrant through Fayette County.
Ariesto was arrested on a warrant for Motion to Adjudicate (original charge) Aggravated Assault with a deadly weapon. Fayette County Sheriff's Office Deputies also assisted in the arrest.
