Scheduled Power Outage in Smithville

Today on January 7, between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m., there will be a scheduled power outage in the area known as “The Hill” to allow for line maintenance. This includes 2nd Avenue, 3rd Avenue, 4th Avenue, 5th Avenue, 6th Avenue, 7th Avenue, Live Oak Street, Elm Street, Hickory Street, Pine Street, Ash Street, Maple Street and Dump Ground Road.
Power is not expected to be out for the entire time frame; however, out of an abundance of caution, residents should plan for a potential outage during this period.
