Car Burglary Suspects Arrested during a Traffic Stop

On Tuesday at approximately 1:50pm, Fayette County Dispatchers were notified of a stolen vehicle from Seguin that took place in Seguin. Dispatch advised the suspect vehicle was traveling east bound on IH10.
Officers with SPD located the vehicle and initiated a felony traffic stop near IH 10. Two subjects were detained and a probable cause search was conducted on the vehicle.
After further investigation Corban Payne (28), of Houston, and Anthony Bates (28), of Houston, were arrested for Fraudulent Use/Possession of Identifying Information.
Both subjects were transported to the Dan R. Justice Center.
