Warrant Arrest in Schulenburg

On Sunday, September 21, at approximately 7:55 pm, A Schulenburg Officer conducted a traffic stop on a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee in the 1100 block of James Ave. for a traffic violation.
The driver was found to have an outstanding warrant for his arrest through Fayette County. Roman Vargas Sanchez (40), of Schulenburg, was arrested on a warrant charging him with Failure to Appear - original charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1/1-B <G. This warrant stems from a prior arrest made by Schulenburg Officers in January of 2023.
