Sheriff Keith Korenek reports on Sunday morning around 10:51am Deputies Joe Gonzales and Cody Williams were dispatched to Guettermann Ehler Rd. near FM 609 in the Muldoon area on a welfare concern for a female in a vehicle. Upon arrival Deputy Cody Williams observed a female passed out behind the wheel of a vehicle that did not return to the address where it was parked. Deputy Williams observed a loaded syringe located in the lap of the female and several clear baggies which allegedly contained Cocaine and "meth". Deputy Joe Gonzales also arrived and the female was asked out of the vehicle and she complied. The female was identified as 58 yr old Rachelle Gutierrez of Smithville who was placed under arrest for Possession of a Controlled Substance and transported to the Dan R. Beck Justice Center.
