In Giddings a 35 year old man was arrested on a slew of charges for assault and causing damage to a Patrol Vehicle. Lee County Sheriff's Deputies were dispatched to a call about an assault at the Tex Villas Apartments on Westwood Lane west of Giddings. An irate man was taken into custody after allegedly assaulting a deputy and causing damage to the interior of a county vehicle. Davon Jason Cloud of Ledbetter was booked into the Lee County Jail.
