Sheriff Keith Korenek reports that on Monday at approximately 23:34hrs, Deputy C. Williams conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic infraction on I-10 near Flatonia. Deputy Williams made contact with the driver, Jose Davilla Villegas. Deputy Williams asked Jose for consent to search the vehicle, and consent was granted. Deputy Williams located approximately 2 grams of suspected cocaine. Deputy Williams placed the male into custody for Poss CS PG 1/1B>=1G<4G, a third-degree felony, and transported him to the Fayette County Sheriff's Office without incident.
