Sheriff Keith Korenek reports on Sunday morning around 9:54am the Fayette County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call reporting a structure fire on US Hwy 77 north near Bear Creek Rd. The LaGrange Fire Department was notified and responded to the scene. Deputies Joe Gonzales, Wesley Arrison, Fayette County EMS Medic Unit 1 and Squad 6 Supervisor also responded. Upon arrival it was reported the structure was burnt down and about 2 acres of grass was burning. Assistance was requested for the Winchester Fire Department who also responded to the scene. The Fire was contained and extinguished which also burnt 2 trailers near the structure. There were no reported injuries and the cause of the fire was undetermined and under investigation.
