Recently, Bastrop County Sheriff's Office Deputies conducted a traffic stop in McDade on a vehicle with multiple traffic violations. While conducting their investigation, Deputies obtained reasonable suspicion that the driver was in possession of illegal narcotics. A BCSO K9 was used to do an open air sniff of the vehicle, which yielded a positive alert for narcotics.
