Fayette County 4-H members compete at District 11 4-H Spring Spectacular
Fayette County 4-H members participated in the District 11 4-H Spring Spectacular Contest on May 1 and 2 in Victoria. Events included Public Speaking, Educational Presentations, Duds to Dazzle, Fashion Show, 4-H has Talent, and Consumer Decision Making.Rheagan Karisch and Logan Poncik competed in the Senior Public Speaking Contest. Crockett Guenther and Adalyn Carrales competed in the Intermediate Public Speaking Contest. Crockett placed 1st place overall. Rilan Karisch and Joesph Carrales competed in the Junior Public Speaking Contest.
Several 4-Hers competed in the Educational Presentations contest. In the Senior Sheep and Goat Category, Tori Newton placed 1st. In the Senior Beef Category, Logan Poncik placed 2nd. Tori and Logan will advance to Texas 4-H Roundup this June.
Sarita Kinsey competed in the Fashion Show and placed 2nd in the Intermediate Construction Dressy Category.
Sarita Kinsey and Kylee Hoffmann competed in the 4-H Talent Show Intermediate Choreography Routine. Sarita placed 2nd Overall.
Sarita Kinsey, Taylyn Newton and Charli Hadaway competed in the Duds to Dazzle Contest.
The Consumer Decision Making Junior Team placed 5th overall. Team members consisted of Langley Murphy, Adalyn Emmel, and Emery Fricke. Individually, Emery was 4th.
The Consumer Decision Making Intermediate Team placed 2nd overall. Team members consisted of Kaden Raabe, Connor Fricke and Makenna Emmel. Individually, Kaden was 2nd high point.
The Consumer Decision Making Senior Team placed 1st overall and will advance to Texas 4-H Roundup in June. Team members consisted of Logan Poncik, Addison Faske, Madeline Willrich, and Elena Supak. Judging as an individual was Roan Willrich. Individually, Madeline was 2nd high point and Elena was 3rd high point
