American Legion Post #338 presents Citizenship Scholarship to Round-Top Carmine High School Graduate

At the 2025 Round Top-Carmine High School Academic Banquet, the American Legion presented their Citizenship Award 2025 to Evan Blazek.
Blazek was selected for this award based upon his extensive involvement in community events and school activities. In the community he is involved with the Round Top Family Library, the Carmine Hall and the LaGrange Animal Shelter. He has volunteered his time as the lead in the RTC Chili Cookoff Fundraiser and serves with the Carmine Fire Department.
As a student, Evan has been involved for the past four years with the 4H, BETA and FFA clubs. In athletics, he has played varsity basketball, tennis and track.
Evan is involved with his church serving as a pianist for worship services at the Round Top Church Christian Fellowship. He also works in the church’s program for students in 2nd to 6th grades to help them with homework and recreational activities.
Evan is the son of Graciela and Anthony Blazak.
