Narcotics Arrest in Bastrop County
Recently, the Bastrop County Narcotics Unit and Drug Enforcement Administration- Houston Division (DEA) executed a narcotics search warrant at 123 Highway 40, with the assistance of the Bastrop County Special Response Team (SRT), DEA-Houston Division Special Response Team (SRT), Williamson County SWAT, and Travis County SWAT, and the Texas Highway Patrol.During the execution of the search warrant, the main suspect in the illegal narcotics trafficking case and wanted for violating their parole, fled on foot and was pursued by Law Enforcement. The suspect was later apprehended.
The execution of the search warrant led to the seizure of felony amounts of numerous narcotics, including over 38 ounces of fentanyl, over 25 ounces of cocaine, 2.7 lbs. of THC products, 11 lbs. of marijuana and over 6 ounces of methamphetamine, totaling over $74,000 worth of illegal narcotics. Also seized were 8 total firearms and body armor. At the conclusion of the execution of the search warrant, 6 total arrests were made with various charges. Those arrested are identified as;
