Sheriff Keith Korenek reports the Fayette County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call reporting a truck fire on St. Hwy 95 north past Burke Rd. in the Flatonia area. The Flatonia fire department was notified and responded to the scene along with Deputy James Ulbig. Upon arrival on the property a 2000 dodge blue pickup truck was located heavily engulfed with flames. The Flatonia Fire Department quickly extinguished the fire and the owner advised he saw flames coming from under the hood when he called 911. The truck was a total loss there was no reported injuries.
