Multi-Agency Counter Narcotics Operation launched in Lavaca County

During the predawn hours this past weekend, a preplanned, multi-agency counter narcotics operation took place in Yoakum and Hallettsville. All of Lavaca County Law enforcement, Lavaca EMS and EOC, Cuero PD, Austin County SO as well as the West Side HIDTA Regional Special Response Team, were present to execute multiple search and arrest warrants at these two locations within Lavaca County. These efforts resulted in 3 arrests and seizures of multiple types of narcotics and firearms.
