Public Intoxication Arrest in Weimar

According to Weimar Police Department, On Monday March 10th, Officer Llanes located a subject passed out on the front lawn of a residence in the 300 block of N Eagle St. AFter contacting the subject, Officer Llanes determined the subject was intoxicated and arrested the subject for public intoxication and transported to the Colorado County Jail. This morning at approximately 0700hrs, further investigation revealed the subject provided a false name and was actually the subject of an outstanding warrant out of Georgia. In addition, the subject was wanted for an active Failure to ID Fugitive Warrant out of Colorado County. The subject was recontacted at the CCSO and booked on the additional charges.

On March 11th, Officer Schneider initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 100 block of N Center. Further investigation revealed that the driver had an active warrant out of Fayette County for Fraud. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Colorado County Jail without incident.
