Drug Arrest in Schulenburg

On Wednesday, February 26th, at approximately 9:42pm, Schulenburg Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on IH-10 eastbound for a traffic violation.
While speaking with the occupants a package of Marijuana was observed giving the Officers probable cause to search the vehicle.
The Search yielded approximately 9.37 ounces of Marijuana which had been purchased at an out of state dispensary and was being transported to Mississippi. The driver, Daryl Moody (49), of California, was arrested for possession of Marijuana and transported to the Dan R. Beck Justice Center.
